Cheryl's mother's favorite bird was the blue bird, so Cheryl picked out this limited edition print by local artist Bernie Rowell, at the Southern Highlands Craft Fair today in downtown Asheville. The artist makes painted quilts, using leather, fiber and found objects. Her Giclee prints are also three dimensional, as after they are printed, she sews in new metallic threads and adds bits of metallic fabrics.
