But listening to the people in charge of the vehicles and crews, it's obviously not so peaceful over there. There was a helicopter visible about 20 minutes ago, and they have just called for another 5-man crew to be on standby nearby. One of the problems is just getting the firefighters and equipment to the location. Earlier they were concerned about two residences but they think they have them secured.
Norris may have a long afternoon - there is a good breeze here today and conditions have been dry.

Is that the one that ended up burning 7 acres? We're so glad no one was hurt!
Yes, 7 acres, featured on WLOS last night, but no shots of Norris or anyone other than one of the RCFD chiefs working the scene. Norris wound up working in the "Incident Command" capacity he's been training for, as there were so many Buncombe County, Asheville City and Forest Service crews working to contain the blaze.
