Does this look like 1-2 inches of snow to you? Thats how much the weatherman predicted we'd get today But its actually 5 inches. It was a nice wet snow that stuck to everything so we took some pictures from the house. When it 90 degrees here in August, maybe we'll look back on these pictures fondly. This winter, Asheville is now 24 inches ahead of its normal 9 inches of snowfall.

These are the pretty snow photos taken in the first hours after the snowfall. And they do look beautiful!
But we've had altogether too much snow this winter and the novelty wore off quite some inches of snow ago.Thanks for reminding us of the beauty of nature!
