The Carolina Wrens previously not seen near the feeder make periodic short visits throughout the day. Norris calls them "dirt birds" because they are so hard to see against the ground under the feeders. Zoomed in on this one, it doesn't have the characteristic wren tail pose, and may be a juvenile of another species.
And Norris just filled what he believes is the cheapest bird feeder he ever bought with nyger for the goldfinches. It didn't take them long to figure out how to use it. This picture shows a male having a snack while a female does sentry duty on the top.
