just off the frame

This is to be a raffle quilt for a church in Northern Virginia. I'd been wanting to use this elegant border treatment and this was the quilt for it. The border is 11.5 inches wide. It started as 14, but as the ladies from the church had sent me a back that was not large enough, I convinced them to let me cut off 2.5 inches all the way around, which made for a border in better proportion to the quilt, and still a very large one.
